About the session:
Sam was never the first to propose an idea in a team meeting. Never the first to propose a restaurant to eat at. Never the first to speak up about a contradicting opinion. Sam did her best to fit in and not stand out. Until one day when she changed workplaces and felt safe to speak up, and her idea sparked a breakthrough in technology. Sam felt truly heard and appreciated, she felt like she belonged, like she could make a meaningful contribution that would fill her with pride. And so did her peers.
Join us for a lightning talk with Daniela to hear about the connection between innovation and the feeling of belonging, and break out into sessions to work out inclusive practices that foster the sense of belonging and explore what #breakthebubble means.

Daniela is passionate about empowering people. She inspires and coaches leaders to transform themselves, their teams and organizations to build inclusive and empowering work cultures driving innovation, where employees feel engaged, co-create effectively and grow together, leading themselves and the organization to a more purposeful, meaningful and sustainable future.
Over the course of the past 20 years, Daniela has been engaged in the fields of talent engagement, leadership development, cultural transformation, executive and leadership coaching, team effectiveness and psychological safety. She obtained a Master in Change from INSEAD and completed an Executive Leadership Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. During her 15 years at Google Daniela led several multinational teams and organizations and guided senior leaders to effectively transform their teams and organizations to maximize their potential in order to drive cutting-edge innovation.
Daniela lectures at the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration in Zurich at the EMBA in Digital Leadership, coaches leaders pursuing the embaX at ETH and HSG.
