Our story began In 2016, when Bilge and Ola launched Workplace Experts (formerly WeWent.com), a platform dedicated to connecting capability development experts (trainers, coaches, facilitators and key note speakers) with teams and organisations.
Following its success, they further expanded their vision and established Shake Up The Workplace in 2019 with a strong desire to ignite transformation in the workplaces. Shake Up The Workplace began as an extraordinary gathering, 'The Unconfrence' in 2020.
This wasn't a typical conference, it was a gathering of a diverse array of like-minded professionals representing the entire ecosystem of the future of work from corporates, startups, NGOs, academia and government. It has attracted 200 participants and was supported by a large group of volunteers.
Since then Shake Up The Workplace has attracted numerous partners, clients and well above 3000 followers and community members.
Dr. Chantelle Brandt Larsen (DBA) who had been our strategic advisor from the beginning worked with us, our client feedback and market trends to Shake Up - Shake Up The Workplace. We re-shaped into what clients were demanding and needed from us to cope now and be future ready!
Today we pride ourselves in bringing the whole Human into workplaces through our work in Transformation, Strategy and Capability building.

Bilge is passionate about fostering cross-cultural growth and simplifying complex human and technical issues. With ShakeUptheWorkplace, she is dedicated to designing seamless experiences and addressing social issues, such as fertility, with innovative solutions like "tiny pea."
Bilge's 12-year background in technology innovation greatly informs their approach to social enterprises and the impact of technology on human behavior.
Bilge advocates for equitable workplaces, strong human connections, and human rights, driven by an underlying deep respect for humanity. Her international perspective is both broad and deep, shaped by their speaking in multiple languages and their experiences living in diverse countries like Turkey, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Additionally, her frequent visits to Japan has significantly deepened their cultural insights, further enhancing their understanding of global dynamics and intercultural relations.
CO-FOUNDER
Ola thrives in collaborative environments, skillfully applying customer-focused strategies to human-centered process design and facilitating cultural evolution. With a background that blends corporate and startup dynamics, Ola brings a wealth of expertise in Agile HR, facilitation, and coaching. As a Lead Trainer within the Agile HR Community, Ola excels in delivering global Agile Certification programs, helping non-tech teams focus on business and employee value. Ola's areas of expertise are diverse, encompassing employee engagement, enhancing the employee experience, learning and development, the future of work, and cultivating a culture of belonging. Driven by a deep love for learning and a commitment to driving change, Ola actively contributes to the shaping of the Shake Up future of work ecosystem, maintains a growth mindset and a solid foundation in the corporate world.
CO-FOUNDER
Chantelle is passionate about enabling individuals and teams to design systematic solutions that make a human-first impact.As a strategic board advisor for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, she is deeply committed to societal change. Led remote global leadership roles in HR for 20+ years: in-house and consulting, developing human and digital solutions for multiple clients, Org—design (OD) and development, transformational talent, and learning landscapes from scratch. Chantelle's unique background encompasses multi-sector experience, fluency in two languages, and extensive research into the successes and failures of artificial intelligence through critical incident interviews across 12 companies. Sheis not only skilled in coaching, with certifications in ORSC ICF™, Facilitation Theory U® from MIT, and AgilePM®, but also possesses strong applied research skills. These skills will be further honed and applied at ISTF and Cambridge University in 2024. Chantelle is eager to collaborate and co-create solutions that make a meaningful impact, leveraging their rich experience and dedication to ethical and equal practices in the field

Catherine loves traveling extensively and immersing herself in various cultures, bolstered by her multilingual abilities.With an impressive 30 years of global experience, she has refined her skills as a transformation strategist. Catherine is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), credentials she earned through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Her journey as an executive leader has been marked by profound transformation, fostered by deep empathy and compassion. Catherine's primary focus lies in making a human impact through her coaching and sponsorship, assisting clients on their transformative journeys. Her extensive experience in change management and post-merger integration has led her to specialize in human-centric leadership. Committed to guiding companies through their transformation processes, Catherine places a strong emphasis on the importance of involving people at every step. She understands that for organizations to flourish and navigate change successfully, the involvement of their people is vital.

As a dedicated Talent Delivery Specialist for seven years, Rei excelled in VA recruitment, onboarding, coordination, and managing training programs and social media activities. With a decade as a Senior Real Estate Admin Assistant, she demonstrated expertise in routine admin duties, travel logistics, and supplies management. Adaptable and flexible, Rei thrives in various work environments, bringing a strong work ethic to contribute effectively to any team or project.
